- Line management of the Marketing and Creative team of 4 people.
- Coordination and planning of the Creative Services function, including Graphic Design and Video Production
- Management of freelance creative resources

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Marketing & Creative Services Manager to lead Marick's marketing and creative services function.
This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for leading marketing and communications projects while coordinating the delivery of our creative services across marketing, graphic design and video production.
Working closely with the Joint Managing Directors and wider project delivery teams, you'll ensure projects are effectively planned, resourced and delivered to the highest standards.
You'll act as the senior marketing lead for both Marick and our clients, providing strategic advice, building strong client relationships and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Lead marketing and communications projects for Marick and our clients.
- Provide strategic marketing advice that delivers measurable business outcomes.
- Lead the marketing of Marick's ticketed events, helping to drive delegate attendance, sponsorship opportunities and event revenue.
Creative Services
· Coordinate the delivery of creative services across marketing, graphic design and video production.
· Work with the events team to develop creative concepts, themes and delegate experiences for events and campaigns.
· Ensure projects are effectively planned, resourced and delivered to the highest standards.
· Maintain quality, consistency and brand excellence across all creative output.
Client & Project Leadership
- Build trusted client relationships and lead marketing and creative projects from brief to delivery.
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines and resources.
- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and support business development.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop the team.
- Plan team workload and allocate resources across multiple concurrent client and internal projects.
- Coordinate freelance specialists.
- Foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the Creative Services function.
Marick Marketing
- Lead Marick's own marketing activity and brand development.
- Oversee digital marketing, social media, website and content planning.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Above all, you'll be a creative thinker with the ability to take a client brief or even a loose idea and transform it into compelling marketing campaigns, engaging content or memorable event concepts. You'll bring fresh ideas, challenge conventional thinking where appropriate and inspire both clients and colleagues with your creativity.
You'll be equally comfortable discussing marketing strategy with senior stakeholders as you are facilitating client workshops, developing creative concepts, briefing designers and video producers, or supporting the development of junior colleagues.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced agency environment where no two projects are the same and where creativity, collaboration and attention to detail are equally valued.
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least five years' experience in a marketing, communications or events agency role.
- Agency experience.
- Proven experience leading integrated marketing and communications projects.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy and social media.
- Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary creative projects involving marketing, design and video.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and resources.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- WordPress content management.
- Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
- Canva and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta advertising.
