We’re rapidly expanding and are looking for a smart, driven individual to take a lead on and support on legal and regulatory matters.
We’re agile and move fast. Initially, you'll focus primarily on supporting a property company within the group including conveyancing, litigation, lease agreements, and commercial property transactions. The Richmond Group has many interests and areas that require varying skills and experience. You could encompass other law aspects including but not limited to equity, debt deals and corporate structuring. You don’t need to have bags of experience but you do need to be able to make a real impact and be willing to turn your hand to new and unknown challenges whilst also managing the day to day legal matters and paperwork.
What we’ll ask you to do:
- Support the property company on legal and compliance matters including contracts, conveyancing and handling litigation matters.
- Research, draft and negotiate property contracts including leases, licenses, and property management agreements.
- Undertake legal and regulatory research and use your findings to help us make better decisions.
- To be commercial (understand where the line is and what we can and can’t do without wrapping us up in red tape!)
We think you’ll need:
- To have studied law at undergraduate level, with demonstrable knowledge of UK property law or have at least 12 months experience working in property law (conveyancing, commercial property, or property litigation)
- An ability to self-learn, you want to excel and are constantly looking at ways to improve.
- A genuine interest in property law and how it applies in a commercial context
- Ambition, if you don’t see work as a fundamental part of your life this probably isn’t the job for you.
- Grit, we have high expectations and you need the ability to stick at a problem, we never said this would be easy.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- To be a self-starter.
- An openness to feedback and a drive to improve.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
