This post will be overseeing 1 solo home with a small staff team.
As a Registered Manager you will work alongside the senior management team, and be responsible for a one-bedded Residential Children`s Home. This role would be ideal for an existing registered manager looking to work in an established company, or an existing deputy manager looking for the next step in their career.
Within the role of Manager, you will effectively oversee all aspects of the operational day to day management of the home. You should be passionate about the work and have the ability to drive and motivate others. You will strive to deliver outstanding care and support for the young people in your care and their families. You will provide effective direction, guidance, support and leadership to your staff team and will deliver a service which is in line with both company and OFSTED guidelines.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have;
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or the commitment to achieving the relevant award within 3 years.
- Strong working knowledge of vulnerable young people, Ofsted regulations and safeguarding regulations;
- Thorough understanding of young people with attachment disorder, complex challenging behaviours and EBD;
- 1 years’ experience of management of a team.
- 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting or in residential services.
- Full, clean UK driving licence is desirable.
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
Work remotely
Salary is negotiable depending on Qualifications and experience.
