Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own car or van to deliver packages, goods, or supplies to various locations within assigned routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and physical stamina
- Verify delivery details with customers upon arrival, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage in company logs or digital systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks comfortably throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is a plus for loading/unloading tasks and understanding inventory handling
- Knowledge of local roads, navigation tools, and route planning techniques
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills

Pay: £12.71-£21.85 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 48.0 per week
