At CJ's Events Warwickshire, we're a family-run business passionate about creating vibrant markets, festivals, and community events across Warwickshire and beyond. From bustling town centre markets to large-scale public events, we're proud to bring people together and create memorable experiences.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and energetic individual to join our Events Operations Team to set up and take down heavy Market Stalls & Gazebos. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a close-knit team, and seeing events come to life, this could be the perfect role for you.
Hours of Work - Min of 14 hours per week. (Times may change slightly)
- Fridays 16:00hrs - 19:00hrs
- Saturdays 16:00hrs - 19:00hrs
- Sundays in Sept (Hours TBC)
- Sundays (Oct, Nov, Dec) 00:00hrs - 04:00hrs and 18:00hrs - 22:00hrs
- Overtime also available most weeks at weekends.
About the Role
No two days are quite the same. You'll play a key role in delivering markets and events by transporting equipment, setting up event infrastructure, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that offers a great alternative to being stuck behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely tow and transport trailers to and from market locations
- Carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks
- Load and prepare equipment for events and markets
- Erect and dismantle market stalls efficiently and safely
- Set out stalls in accordance with site plans
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment
- Help maintain clean, organised, and professional event sites
- Work closely with the wider operations team to deliver successful events
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Previous experience in a practical, outdoor, or labouring role
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible approach to working hours when required
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Trailer towing experience desirable, but training may be provided for the right candidate
