This is a senior project leadership position within the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions FM Security, team, accountable for delivering global medium to large-scale security projects across Facility Capital Planning (FCP), Change the Bank (CTB), and Run the Bank (RTB) programmes for a major financial services client.
You will act as a trusted advisor to the Global Security senior management team, providing delivery oversight across regional project teams, security Integration and technical excellence. Drawing on deep industry experience, you will translate complex security challenges into clear, structured delivery plans and provide the strategic recommendations that drive sound decision-making at senior level.
Communication sits at the heart of this role. You will be responsible for building and maintaining clear, consistent dialogue with both the client and Tier 1/Tier 2 delivery teams across every change initiative. The ability to engage effectively at all levels, from operational teams to executive stakeholders within a regulated financial services environment, is essential.
The right candidate brings the discipline to standardise delivery across a complex programme, the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and the clarity of thinking to turn complexity into confidence.
What You will Do:
Concurrently manage multiple security deliveries across all regions, applying priority-based decision-making aligned to client expectations and programme governance
Own end-to-end project plans for medium to large-scale Corporate Security and Global Real Estate projects, proactively resolving roadblocks and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Lead the delivery of security technology-driven change within the client environment, working without supervision across access control, CCTV and alarm systems as required
Build and maintain strong client relationships, translating security requirements into tailored solutions delivered through regional teams of subject matter experts
Implement robust governance, assurance and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility of programme performance to client and internal stakeholders
Identify, prioritise, and develop strategies to address security risks across the client estate, acting as a trusted advisor at senior level
Lead security assessments of physical and technical control suppliers as part of RFP processes, evaluating capability against client requirements
Ensure all project delivery activity complies with relevant security policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Share knowledge, technical insight, and best practice across the wider security community to raise delivery standards consistently
What You will Need:
Formal project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
Proven ability to manage concurrent, complex security programmes across multiple geographies
Strong governance, reporting, and assurance capability across full project lifecycles
Budget management and financial controls on medium to large-scale projects
Deep technical knowledge of physical security systems: access control, CCTV, and intruder detection
Experience delivering security technology change within regulated financial services environments
Familiarity with Corporate Security and Global Real Estate project frameworks
Credible communicator at senior and executive level, both client-side and internally
Skilled at managing Tier 1/Tier 2 delivery teams and subject matter experts
Able to build trusted advisor relationships with financial services clients
Confident leading without supervision in complex, ambiguous environments
Priority-based decision-making across competing programme demands
Ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity across diverse stakeholder groups
