At TDK Mechanical Services, safety is at the heart of everything we do. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a highly organised Health & Safety Coordinator to support our Health & Safety function and help ensure our people, projects and processes remain compliant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills who has an interest in Health & Safety and is looking to build a long-term career. Previous Health & Safety experience is beneficial but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided.
The Role
You'll work closely with our management team and external Health & Safety consultants to coordinate compliance activities across the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating Health & Safety documentation and records.
- Maintaining training records and arranging refresher training.
- Scheduling site audits, inspections and compliance visits.
- Assisting with accident and near-miss reporting.
- Monitoring action plans and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Managing Health & Safety documentation including RAMS, certificates and compliance records.
- Supporting the coordination of PPE, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Liaising with managers, engineers and external Health & Safety consultants.
- Assisting with maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Providing general administration support to the Health & Safety function.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with people at all levels.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working in an administrative or coordination role.
- Experience within construction, engineering or facilities management.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety processes.
- IOSH Working Safely or similar qualification (training can be provided).

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
