Job Summary
As a Door Supervisor, you will be the frontline ambassador responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at our venue. Your energetic presence and vigilant oversight will ensure the safety of all guests, staff, and property. You will manage access control, monitor surveillance systems, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach will help create an enjoyable experience while safeguarding everyone on-site.
Duties
- Greet and check identification of all guests to ensure compliance with entry policies
- Monitor CCTV surveillance to oversee activity within and around the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security issues or safety hazards
- Enforce venue rules and manage crowd control effectively during events or busy periods
- Respond swiftly to incidents, disputes, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services if needed
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing for theft or suspicious behavior
- Maintain detailed incident reports and shift logs to document security activities and occurrences
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, surveillance, or crowd management preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
- First aid certification is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks proactively
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with confidence
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
