This role involves the installation, repair, and replacement of windscreens in various vehicles, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess damage to windscreens and determine appropriate repair or replacement methods.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to safely remove and install windscreens.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed and any additional recommendations.
- Assist in heavy lifting of windscreens and other materials as required during installations.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to windscreen installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Capability for heavy lifting, as the role involves handling large glass panels.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
