We are looking for a reliable, proactive and committed individual to join Lighthouse Schools Partnership as a Site Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our school environments are safe, secure, welcoming and well maintained, supporting the delivery of high-quality education for our pupils. Working across one of our school sites, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and security of the premises.
Working closely with the Hub Estates Lead, Headteacher and school leadership team, you will take responsibility for site security, planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety compliance, contractor management and facilities operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that our buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, whilst promoting safe working practices, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability across the school.
To undertake this role successfully, you will need to be organised, practical and able to work independently, with good DIY and repair skills and a strong understanding of health and safety requirements. You will be confident prioritising a varied workload, responding to issues as they arise and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, pupils, parents, contractors and external agencies. Basic IT skills, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment are essential.
If you are a motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a varied and rewarding environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.

- Oversee the upkeep of school buildings and grounds, ensuring indoor and outdoor areas remain clean, safe, tidy and fit for use throughout the year.
- Manage contractors and external visitors on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, in accordance with Trust policies, risk assessments and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and support facilities operations, including deliveries, stock management, meter readings, maintenance records and compliance systems.
- Carry out statutory compliance checks relating to fire safety, emergency lighting, legionella, play equipment, building safety and other regulatory requirements.
