Finance Administrator 12 month FTC
Office-Based (Hybrid after Training)

The Role
Reporting into our Head Office Finance team, you'll be embedded within the local operation, working closely with on-site colleagues to provide day-to-day finance administration and credit control support.
This is a delivery-focused role where you'll take ownership of invoicing, debt collection and finance queries while helping to introduce new processes and ways of working following a recent business acquisition.
Initially, the role will be office-based to support your onboarding and training. Once established, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
As our Finance Administrator, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day finance administration and credit control activities
- Raising customer invoices accurately and on time
- Proactively chasing outstanding debt and overdue balances
- Resolving invoice and account queries with customers and internal teams
- Supporting improvements in cash collection and debtor performance
- Working closely with local operational teams and the Head Office Finance team
- Assisting with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and embedding new finance processes
- Producing regular updates on outstanding debt and cash collection performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen financial controls
- Building practical, sustainable finance processes that support future growth
You'll Ideally Have:
- Previous experience in a Finance Administration or Credit Control role
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence to proactively follow up outstanding actions and payments
- A resilient and solution-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working with manual processes and data
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
