Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to inspire and support students in their learning journey. In this role, you will deliver engaging tutoring sessions, adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, and foster a positive learning environment. Your enthusiasm for education and ability to connect with children will be key to helping students thrive academically. All lessons are planned for you with resources and activities ready for every session. There is no marking or planning to take away in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver group tutoring sessions in English and Maths tailored to each student’s needs
- Create a supportive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to learn and build confidence
- Communicate effectively about student progress and areas for improvement
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate teaching strategies
Skills
- Ideally an experienced and qualified teacher.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children across various age groups
- Strong understanding of English and/or Maths curriculum requirements
- Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate learners
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Passionate about education, patient, empathetic, and energetic in engaging students
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
