An exciting opportunity has arisen at MCG for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join our team, operating from our West Midlands branch in Oldbury.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and small works installations of Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems across our customer base. This is a field-based role requiring travel throughout the region and, on occasion, further afield to meet business requirements.
The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours emergency callout rota, providing support to customers outside normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find Intruder Alarm systems.
- Service, maintain and install Access Control systems.
- Service, maintain and install CCTV systems, including IP-based solutions.
- Carry out small works and system upgrades as required.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
Qualities Required
- Good working knowledge of NSI Codes of Practice.
- Experience working with Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive approach to fault finding and problem solving.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems would be advantageous, although not essential as training can be provided.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
