Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes according to project specifications and schematics.
- Perform repairs on damaged roofs by replacing broken or worn components, ensuring long-lasting results.
- Use welding techniques when necessary to secure metal components or flashing for enhanced durability.
- Assist with fabrication and customization of roofing materials in the workshop as needed.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate construction activities and ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to roofing projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Basic carpentry skills for framing or structural adjustments as needed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique.
- Familiarity with masonry or plumbing work is a plus for integrated building projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.

Pay: £102.64-£262.50 per day
