Due to the expansion of our business we are looking for an experienced and reliable car & van mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful applicant must be confident working independently and have the experience to carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs. You will be working for a family business, with an enviable reputation and over 40 years experience in the motor trade.
Your Responsibilities:
- Full and interim vehicle servicing
- Timing belt and timing chain replacement
- Engine removal and replacement
- Clutch and transmission replacement
- Brake and suspension repairs
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- General mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a car and van mechanic
- Experience with timing belts/chains and engine replacements is essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Full UK driving license preferred
