Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for designing dental restorations where applicable.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Ensure all equipment and instruments are sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dentistry, including oral structures and tissues.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations or prosthetics.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays or digital scans for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, ensuring precision in all clinical procedures and record keeping.
