Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Garden Maintenance professional to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various gardening and landscape tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a love for horticulture, and experience working with a range of tools and plant care techniques. Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain gardens and landscaped areas effectively.
- Prune, trim, and shape plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilising, and mulching to ensure optimal plant health.
- Perform regular lawn mowing, edging, weeding, and general groundskeeping tasks.
- Maintain garden features such as pathways, borders, and decorative elements in pristine condition.
- Support the installation of new plants or landscape features as required.
- Monitor plant health and identify potential issues such as pests or diseases for timely intervention.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.
Experience
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is essential.
- Growing experience or knowledge of plant care techniques will be considered an advantage.
- A genuine interest in gardening and outdoor aesthetics is important for success in this role.
- Previous experience working with landscaping projects or garden design will be beneficial.
