Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels and resident laundry items with precision and care
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently to maximize productivity
- Monitor laundry inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the laundry area at all times
- Ensure all laundry is processed in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with delivering clean linens to designated areas within the home.
- Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to preserve item quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in a nursing home or hospitality laundry services is highly preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry efficiently
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and management
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and hygiene standards
