Bar Staff / Front of House
We are looking for reliable, hard-working Bar Staff to join our team. We run a busy, high-standard pub, and we need people who can pull their weight, deliver quick and efficient service, and keep operations running smoothly behind the bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Pouring: Take orders accurately, pull drinks properly, serve food, and keep waiting times down during peak hours.
- Bar Operations & Cleanliness: Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked. Manage glassware, keep taps and speed rails tidy, and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout your shift.
- Till Management: Handle cash and card transactions accurately on the till system.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with responsible alcohol serving policies, food safety standards, and general pub health and safety.
- Teamwork: Work closely with both front-of-house and kitchen staff to keep service moving cleanly and efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to stay calm, fast, and organized under pressure during busy periods.
- Clear communication skills and a confident, natural approach with customers.
- Basic mental arithmetic and accurate till handling.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods.
- Prior bar or hospitality experience is a plus, but a solid attitude and willingness to execute standards consistently matter most.
Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour
