Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general maintenance, repair, and property upkeep tasks across multiple locations. The role may include occasional driving duties, as required. This position is ideal for someone who is practical, self-motivated, and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repairs
· Carry out general building maintenance and repair work.
· Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor electrical tasks.
· Assemble, install, and repair fixtures, fittings, and furniture.
· Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues.
· Ensure properties and facilities are kept in a safe and presentable condition.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Driving and Site Support
· Occasional driving of owner in their vehicles.
· Collect and deliver materials, parts, equipment, and supplies.
· Assist with setting up and moving equipment.
· Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects or servicing requirements.
Health & Safety
· Comply with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
· Use tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
· Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
· Report hazards, accidents, and maintenance concerns promptly.
Skills and Experience
Essential
· Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, facilities, or property maintenance role.
· Good practical skills across a range of trades.
· Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
· Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
· Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
· Experience working in commercial or residential properties.
· Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
· Experience using maintenance management systems.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
