We are seeking a Compliance Manager to ensure contractual, statutory and legislative compliance across the contract, supported by appropriate and demonstrable evidence. The role is responsible for monitoring performance against contractual obligations, supporting audit activity, and helping the business maintain compliance with ISS business systems, procedures, Trust policies and legal requirements.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional and diligent individual who can drive a strong compliance culture, manage information and reporting processes, and provide guidance to managers on quality, performance and compliance matters. The successful candidate will also support Health & Safety, Human Resources/People & Culture, and Training functions to help reduce risk across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee statutory, legislative and contractual compliance activities across the contract.
Manage internal and external audit processes, including site-instigated audits, corrective actions and audit improvement plans.
Monitor compliance with internal business systems and procedures, ensuring adherence to audit requirements.
Support service managers with contractual compliance matters, variation requests and contractual documentation management.
Manage performance monitoring processes, ensuring service measures comply with contractual undertakings.
Analyse performance data, identify trends, investigate service breaches and support corrective action planning.
Produce monthly, ad hoc and compliance reports, including supporting evidence and documentation.
Support Health & Safety compliance through audits, spot checks, committee participation and ongoing monitoring.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Auditing experience, preferably within a multi-functional healthcare environment.
Experience of administration processes.
Experience of quality control systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
Competent user of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power BI.
Ability to analyse, interpret and present complex data clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to build effective working relationships with managers, clients and stakeholders.
