About the Role
The post holder is responsible for the testing of electrical and electronic components performing to high standards of quality whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the Assembly Department.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assemble, wire and build electrical and electronic equipment into mechanical enclosures.
- Conduct electrical safety testing, functional testing, fault diagnosis and equipment configuration.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and ensure compliance and H&S procedures.
- Safely operate tools and equipment and support stock control activities.
Who we are looking for:
- Preferrably have a HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic discipline qualification.
- Must have previous experience in an Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
- Must have cable and harness installation and termination experience.
- Must be familiar with water ingress protection glands, seals and connectors.
- Must have knowledge of Electronic/Electrical circuits.
- Must have experience of Electrical testing.
- Must have City & Guilds in Electrical Installation 2360, City Guilds in Test Inspection 2391, City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Forklift license is desirable.
