Do you enjoy meeting people in the local community, if so, we are looked for a social value coordinator. The Social Value Coordinator will support the organization in delivering meaningful social, economic and environmental benefits for our residents, communities and local areas.
Working closely with Contract Managers, contractors, suppliers, residents and community organisations, the role will coordinate and monitor social value activities and ensure that commitments are delivered, recorded and reported effectively.
The role will help identify opportunities to improve outcomes for residents and communities through employment, training, apprenticeships, volunteering, community engagement, environmental initiatives and partnership working.
About The Role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the delivery of social value initiatives across the organisation and its supply chain.

Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure agreed social value commitments are delivered.

Identify opportunities to generate additional social value through contracts, projects and day-to-day activities.

Support initiatives that benefit residents, particularly around employment, training, skills development and community wellbeing.

Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, charities, training providers, schools, employment organisations and other partners.Support resident engagement and ensure that social value activities reflect local needs and priorities. Maintain accurate records of social value activities, commitments and outcomes.

Collect evidence and information from contractors, suppliers and internal teams to demonstrate the impact of social value activities.

Monitor progress against agreed targets and identify any areas where additional action may be required.

Prepare regular reports and updates for management and relevant stakeholders.

Assist with reporting social value outcomes to clients, partners and other external stakeholders where required.

Ensure appropriate evidence is retained to support social value reporting and contractual requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience of working in a coordination, community engagement, project support or similar role.

Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Experience of maintaining accurate records and producing reports.

Experience of organising activities, projects or initiatives from planning through to completion.

An understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing residents and communities.
Desirable Experience

Experience within social housing, housing associations, construction, property services or the public sector.

Experience of working with contractors and suppliers.

Experience of delivering or monitoring social value initiatives.

Experience of working with community organisations, charities or employment/training providers.

Knowledge of social value measurement and reporting.

- As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations, we will require an Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
