About the Role
Following a very successful start to 2026, we’re looking to strengthen our management team with the appointment of a Business Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Carlisle.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and customer-focused individual to play a key role in one of the UK’s leading Mercedes-Benz retailers.
As a Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving the commercial success of the dealership. Working closely with our Sales Executives, you’ll coach, support and develop the team to ensure every customer receives a professional, transparent and enjoyable buying journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
Success in this role is about far more than achieving targets. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, leadership and a genuine passion for developing people, continually raising standards and helping us build on our success.
You’ll confidently present finance, insurance and protection products with integrity, ensuring customers fully understand the options available while maintaining the very highest standards of compliance and treating every customer fairly.
Alongside a competitive rewards package and genuine career development opportunities, we offer a supportive team culture and an excellent work/life balance, including a rolling five-day working week, alternate weekend working and a fixed weekday off. It’s a schedule designed to provide consistency, flexibility and time away from work, allowing you to perform at your best both professionally and personally.
About You
Ideally, you’ll already have experience as a Business Manager / Sales Manager within the automotive industry or be a high-performing Sales Consultant looking to take the next step in your career.
However, we also recognise that exceptional people come from a variety of backgrounds, so applicants with transferable experience in a similar customer-focused sales or leadership role from another industry will also be considered.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Leads with integrity, professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Has excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills with both colleagues and customers.
- Is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Is commercially minded, entrepreneurial and proactive, with a passion for identifying new business opportunities and driving exceptional results.
- Enjoys developing others and helping create a high-performing team culture.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
If you’re ambitious, motivated and ready to make a real impact with one of the UK’s leading Mercedes-Benz retailers, we’d love to hear from you.
