Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista to join our team! In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and ensure a welcoming environment and get to know your customers. Your passion for great service and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including handling light food items and snacks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Keep the work area organized, stocked, and hygienic at all times
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills
