Summary
Please note this is not a warehouse-based role. We are specifically looking for candidates with logistics, shipping, export, freight forwarding or supply chain experience.
We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Order Fulfilment Co-Ordinator to manage the movement of goods from supplier to customer, both within the UK and internationally.
This is a standalone role where you'll take ownership of customer orders from purchase order placement through to final delivery. You'll coordinate inbound deliveries, book goods into the system, arrange shipments, monitor supplier performance and ensure customers receive regular updates throughout the order lifecycle.
You'll be the main point of contact for all logistics matters, working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, the warehouse and internal teams to keep orders moving and resolve issues quickly.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for getting the job done.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage supplier purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Proactively chase suppliers for updates on outstanding orders.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries from suppliers to our warehouse.
- Book goods received into the ERP system accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate UK and international shipments.
- Arrange transport with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Prepare shipping, export and customs documentation.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers and colleagues.
- Manage customer orders from supplier purchase order through to final delivery.
- Resolve supply chain, delivery and shipping issues.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with shipping, export and customs requirements.
- Provide regular updates on outstanding orders and delivery schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in logistics, shipping, exports, freight forwarding or supply chain coordination.
- Experience tracking purchase orders and coordinating supplier deliveries.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using ERP systems would be advantageous.

- £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
