Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, with expertise in providing high-quality nursing care within a residential setting. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, supporting residents' health needs, and ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring health status.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care activities, observations, and medication records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity while respecting individual preferences.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations within the care environment.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatments, and wellness strategies.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies or changes in residents’ conditions, escalating concerns as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and understanding of physiological processes relevant to elderly or dementia patients.
- Competence in medication administration with attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate approach combined with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant nursing qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse qualification) is required.

Pay: £29,420.00-£42,050.26 per year
