Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support our administrative operations within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data entry, processing accounts payable, and utilising various accounting software programmes. Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately across multiple platforms, including Workday, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other accounting software.
- Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Support financial record keeping by maintaining organised files and documentation.
- Utilise QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and reconcile accounts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting.
- Prepare routine administrative reports and summaries for management review.
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures related to financial data handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or similar programmes.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy levels.
- Familiarity with Workday and QuickBooks is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or financial administration is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
