Job Overview:
Join our team as a Van Driver, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods (cases of wines, beers and kegs) to various locations efficiently and securely. Hours are 8am-5pm equating to 41.25 hours per week. Any time over this is paid at time and a half.
Duties:
- Safely operate and drive company vans to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from the van as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the company van.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
This position is also a trainee HGV driver and we require somebody who is willing to train as a HGV driver. We will train you on all aspects of our delivery service and then put you through your HGV licence for a catagory C, we will cover all costs of the training. Once you've qualified and completed a satisfactory probation period on the lorries we will increase your wages to £14.63 per hour.
