Prestige Fabrications Ltd are currently recruiting for a time served CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator.
The working hours are 39 hours over a 4 day week;
- Monday to Thursday - 7.00am - 5.15pm
Role Description;
Prestige Fabrications Ltd are recruiting for Time Served CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter and Operator to be based in East Kilbride.
Main responsibilities;
- Programming experience with Fanuc, Haas or siemens controls would be beneficial.
- Setting and operating 3 Axis & 5 Axis CNC Mills.
- Carrying out inspections using metrology equipment and if required training will be provided on how to use a CMM.
- Working in a high precision environment to tight tolerances.
- Working with a range of materials from aluminium to high temperature alloys.
- Working with minimal supervision.
- Offline programming experience would be beneficial, training can be provided for the right candidate.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills;
- Previous experience Setting/Operating 3 Axis & 5 Axis CNC Machines.
- Previous experience using Soildworks/Solidcam would be advantageous.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and design drawings.
- Ability to understand and use all types of measuring equipment.
