As a Structural Connections Engineer at Hilti, you'll support technical enquiries across a wide range of structural applications and construction projects.
Working alongside experienced Engineers, you'll review technical information, provide support to customers using established engineering principles and contribute to evaluation reports and other technical deliverables.
This role combines technical problem-solving, engineering support and ongoing professional development within Hilti's Engineering division. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of structural applications while building specialist knowledge of structural connections.
- Manage structural connection enquiries from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Review technical information and identify the requirements behind each application.
- Apply engineering principles and technical guidance to provide accurate support.
- Escalate more complex enquiries to Senior Engineers where required.
- Contribute to evaluation reports and other engineering deliverables.
- Communicate technical information clearly to engineers, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Develop your knowledge of structural connections, anchoring and fastening applications.
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
- Participate in technical training and professional development activities.
- A bachelor degree or higher in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A sound understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and construction principles.
- The ability to interpret technical information and work through problems logically.
- Driven to develop deeper technical expertise and establish a recognised specialism in structural connections.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate engineering information accurately.
