- GDC Registration: Active, current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is essential.
- Clinical Qualifications: Valid UK National Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing.
- Experience: Proven chairside experience supporting NHS dental procedures and decontamination protocols.
- Right to Work: Valid UK Right to Work documentation required.
About the Role
We are a friendly, patient-focused Dental practice seeking an experienced, GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our team. You will provide high-quality chairside support to our dentists, manage decontamination procedures, and assist with occasional reception cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Provide efficient clinical support to dentists during NHS procedures, maintaining strict infection control standards.
- Decontamination: Sterilize, inspect, and maintain dental instruments according to HTM 01-05 compliance guidelines.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, maintain accurate dental records (SOE/R4), and support patient comfort throughout appointments.
- Reception Support: Assist the front desk with appointment scheduling, phone inquiries, and patient check-ins when needed.
