Overview
With the take over of the Business and new Directors, we at Pathfinder Homes are growing and now looking to take on a Carpentry 2nd fix Team leader.
We are seeking detail-oriented Team Leader to join our team, the ideal candidate will have a passion for Quality while Completing Scheduled Works, they will lead a team of Carpenters to showcase what we at Pathfinder Homes can Achieve.
Main Purpose
To maintain responsibility for the Carpentry process, to allocate work in a timely manner and to ensure deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day responsibility for all Carpentry while monitoring progress of scheduled works;
- Ensuring all materials and resources are available for the shop floor to meet the planned delivery dates of the homes;
- Ensuring production is completed in accordance with the home specification;
- Communicating to Assistant Production Manager/Production Manager any obstacles which may prevent meeting daily targets;
- Responsibility for ensuring tools are readily available and in good working order;
- Providing plans and daily jobs to team members;
- Ensuring all company property is maintained and looked after to the best standard possible;
- Providing hands-on trade support;
- Ensuring quality standards are achieved and accountability for signing QC books.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in painting techniques, including preparation, application, and finishing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Attention to detail with a creative mindset that embraces innovative decorating solutions.
Experience / Certification
- NVQ LVL 2 Carpentry + 3 years or Time Served
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
