A position has become available for an operational lead to join the Unplanned care portfolio in Adult Physical Health Services. The role includes responsibility for the leadership and management of the community service.

Main duties include day-to-day operations providing a managerial link into the team of advanced practitioners, community team leader, district nurses, staff nurses, health care support workers, supporting the teams to deliver high quality safe care by ensuring teams have what they need to undertake their duties . The role requires you work closely with the portfolio lead in ensuring the delivery of safe caring responsive effective well-led services which run 24/7. Being part of the escalation system and utilising appropriate systems to escalate concerns and risks . The operational lead is also key in leading pieces of work including learning reviews and action planning to support the service to learn from errors and implement required changes.
The role also includes other requirements such as:
Complaints investigations
HR investigations
Budget management alongside the portfolio lead
Be part of the on-call rota for the Trust
Developing new initiatives in line with Trust values and increasing productivity.
