HGV Class 2 Driver
Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Location: Unit 2 Station Bridge, Broadway, Yaxley, Peterborough, PE7 3EL
Basic salary (Fulltime): £33,774.26 - £13.53ph (based on 48 hours) Part-time salary will be paid on a pro rata basis according to contracted hours.
Guaranteed Minimum Pay: Paid for a minimum of your contracted hours each week, even where operational requirements result in fewer hours being worked, subject to attendance and compliance with company policies.
Overtime: Paid at time & ½ after 48 hours per week. - Regular overtime opportunities available, with the potential to earn up to £2,000 per year in additional overtime pay, subject to operational requirements and individual availability
The Role
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver? Can you manage large deliveries safely? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are recruiting both full-time and part-time HGV Class 2 Drivers for our Peterborough depot. You’ll handle multi-drop and full load deliveries and keep our customers happy. Full-time positions are based on a Monday to Friday, 48-hour working week. Part-time hours can be discussed at interview.

What You’ll Do
- Perform daily vehicle checks and inspect loads.
- Drive safely, following UK laws and company rules.
- Confirm deliveries with signatures.
- Comply with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
- Keep your cab clean and help with yard duties.
- Deliver excellent customer service.

The Person
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 License, CPC, and Digital-tachograph card.
- ADR licence (preferred)
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling activities as part of day-to-day duties.
- Flexible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
