Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items for quick access by kitchen staff
- Support the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary and service staff
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices related to serving and food safety is a plus
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrates your ability to adapt quickly
