We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet members & guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Engage with members & guests to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting special offers & upcoming events.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending is essential .
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service.
- Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a lively setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
