You are applying for the role of General Warehouse Assistant at PICS in Dinnington, Sheffield.
PICS are the market leaders in the manufacture of Pattern Imprinted Concrete supplies. We have Distribution facilities across the UK and Southern Ireland and a bespoke manufacturing facility in Littlehampton. The responsibilities for this role is to run the Depot in an efficient and profitable manner, to work with your Manager ensuring all Depot processes and procedures are adhered to at all times. Using the computer to process orders using Sage accounts software, Stock checking & picking and organising transport, Serving customers in a polite and friendly manner including cash/credit card handling, Ordering, Receiving and inputting stock, Loading and unloading vehicles manually (25 kg Maximum weight) and mechanically using a Fork Lift Truck (all training provided)
This role will suit the individual who takes pride in his work and his workplace, who has a good eye for detail and is friendly and approachable. no previous experience necessary for this role as full training including FLT licence will be provided for the right candidate

This is a very challenging but rewarding role. It would be an advantage to currently hold a Fork lift truck license although this is not essential as all training will be provided. Working hours are 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday-Friday. Starting Salary to be negotiated with the right candidate depending on age and experience? Between £28,500 - £29,750 with a review after 6 months Probational service.
