Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service to guests in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of our venue. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and food preparation procedures is essential.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, including handling specialised dietary requests
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
- Set up and clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains clean and organised throughout service
- Replenish supplies such as cutlery, glassware, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest queries confidently
- Support bar operations by preparing basic drinks or assisting with barista duties if required
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and hygiene regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving or hospitality roles is highly advantageous
- Experience working in a restaurant environment or with food preparation is preferred
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making techniques is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest satisfaction
