How you'll make an impact
We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for our Gallagher Bassett Financial Planning & Analysis Team! This individual will take ownership of reporting and operations for claim volume, revenue, headcount and associated expenses. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including expertise in detailed analyses, financial modeling, and process improvements. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, making a significant impact through strategic insights and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:

Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization.

Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.

Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.

Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

Leads and directs the work of others and may manage/coordinate the work of more junior staff.
About You
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience required.
- Strong excel and financial management software skills are essential.
Preferred:
- CMA or CFA preferred.

Degree in Accounting or Finance: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred.

3 years of experience in FP&A preferred

Advanced Excel Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including experience with financial modeling and complex data analysis.

Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI for creating insightful reports and dashboards.

Process Improvement Experience: Proven track record in identifying and implementing process improvements and automating workflows.

Detailed Analytical Experience: Strong background in performing detailed financial analyses to support decision-making.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Experience: Relevant experience in FP&A roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
