Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for afternoon working. Shift times are 2pm - 6pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Change bed linens and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed to a high standard
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to meet their needs and expectations
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
