Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have a practical, hands-on approach, be confident using hand tools, and enjoy working with their hands. Previous experience required in carpentry, fabrication or assembling components using a CNC machine.
This role involves working with a range of materials and tools to manufacture high-quality flight cases, with a strong focus on accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail throughout every stage of the production process.
The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support as they become part of our team.
Experience Required:
- Programme, set up, and operate CNC woodworking machines using CAD/CAM software such as Alphacam and other relevant programmes.
- Manufacture components in line with detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Assemble products using hand tools, mechanical fixings, and workshop equipment to ensure a high-quality finished product.
- Safely operate material handling equipment and move materials efficiently throughout the workshop.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure all products meet the required standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to improve production methods, efficiency, and overall workflow.
- Identify and resolve basic manufacturing or assembly issues as they arise.
- Interpret CAD drawings supplied by the design team to accurately manufacture and assemble components.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
