We are looking for a Finance Administrator - Payroll to join the Payroll team.
As Finance Administrator – Payroll, you will be required to carry out the day to day administrative duties of the payroll team thereby ensuring an accurate record of all financial transactions. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- To provide accurate advice of a procedural nature to members of staff from across the organisation and to external customers and stakeholders relevant to the finance section worked in
- To carry out detailed checking of all documents received in finance for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures prior to processing ensuring that they are returned to the originator for amendment if non-compliant
- Investigate and resolve queries from internal and external customers
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Payroll experience would be preferred.
- Payroll system experience on Business World would be beneficial but training will be provided.
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (ideally in a payroll related discipline) or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role
