Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Night Porter/Receptionist to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment during the overnight hours, ensuring guest safety, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a secure environment. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will create a warm and safe atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Fluency in multiple languages and excellent phone etiquette are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and communication.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage all front desk operations during night shifts, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises through regular patrols and monitoring surveillance systems.
- Handle incoming phone calls with courteous professionalism, providing information or directing calls appropriately.
- Assist guests with their needs, including room requests, local information, or emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, incidents, and security logs throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel reception or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to provide outstanding guest service.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, security procedures, and guest services best practices.
- Ability to remain alert, proactive, and professional during overnight hours.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a dynamic environment.
