Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head Cleaner specialising in holiday let properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across multiple rental properties, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and hygienic environment. A valid driver’s licence is essential, as travel between properties is required. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is highly desirable. Duties
- Oversee the cleaning and preparation of holiday let properties to ensure they meet company standards before guest arrivals
- Lead and supervise a team of cleaners, delegating tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules
- Conduct thorough cleaning of all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning materials and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
- Ensure all properties are presented to a high standard, paying attention to detail in cleanliness and organisation
- Drive between multiple properties as required, ensuring punctuality and reliability in service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience (holiday lets or hospitality preferred).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
- Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
