Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly, professional manner
- Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods with care and cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all aspects of service
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Keep the café area clean, organized, and well-stocked by replenishing supplies regularly
- Support team members during busy periods by serving tables, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in hygiene
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable to craft quality beverages efficiently
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
- Strong understanding of order management system
