Thank you for your interest in the post of HR Assistant at Alternative Learning Trust. This position is available from October 2026.
The Trust is seeking to appoint a reliable and proactive person to provide high quality administrative support within the HR team and to be the first point of contact for visitors to the Trust. This post will assist with the recruitment process, payroll administration and responding to enquiries relating to HR.
Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages which will be tested at interview.
The successful candidate will need to have worked in a busy customer focused environment and have excellent communication skills with a calm disposition and professional outlook.
The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English;

To have previous experience of working in a busy office environment;

A professional outlook and experience;

Competency in using a range of IT programs;

Excellent organisation skills;

Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people.
