Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Trainee Shift Manager/Runner to join the team at SoBe Burger. You will help manage daily operations, support staff during busy service periods, ensure food quality and customer satisfaction, and keep the kitchen and front-of-house running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Support the team during busy shifts
- Ensure fast and efficient food service
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Assist with stock control, cleanliness, and food safety
- Manage opening/closing procedures and end-of-day reconciliation
- Maintain high standards of teamwork and customer service
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service speed, and customer experience.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and brand standards
- Handle customer feedback and maintain strong ratings across review and delivery platforms (e.g. Deliveroo, Uber Eats)
Experience
- Previous hospitality or takeaway experience preferred (1 year)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
