Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing tires for various vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power and hand tools. Excellent customer service skills are also essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Rotate, balance, and mount tires on vehicles
- Repair punctures and perform patchwork on damaged tires
- Perform tire alignments and adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of tire services performed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
