Job title: Fabricator - Bespoke Metalwork
Location: East Tilbury, Essex (RM18)

Full-time | Permanent
About Us
At Atlanticbike, we design and manufacture premium metal and timber structures, purpose-built for residential properties across London.
The role is centred on our own range of products and systems, which we're developing and refining all the time - combining repeatable production with bespoke fabrication, custom assemblies and ongoing product development. Most of our work involves steel, stainless and aluminium combined precision fabrication for design-led residential projects. We are a small, experienced team with high standards, a well-organised workshop and a strong emphasis on doing things properly.
The Role
You'll work across the full build - from raw material through fabrication, assembly and finishing, to joining the team for site installations in London approximately one day per week. Company vehicle provided.
Day to day that means:
- TIG welding steel, stainless and aluminium parts and assemblies
- Fabricating from steel sections and folded sheet metal parts
- Working accurately from technical drawings
- Folding laser-cut components on a press brake
- Finishing and preparing work to a high visual standard
- Assembling bespoke structures in the workshop
- Site installations in London with the team, roughly one day per week
What We're Looking For
You don't need to have done everything - but you do need to be solid, reliable and genuinely interested in doing good work. You'll be working alongside an experienced senior fabricator who sets the standard. Your job is to keep up, contribute and grow.
- 2–5 years hands-on fabrication experience.
- Solid MIG welding; experience with TIG welding.
- Comfortable reading drawings and working to instruction
- Some press brake experience is a bonus.
- Detail-oriented, practical and reliable - you take pride in what you make
- Full UK driving licence preferred
What we're not looking for: heavy structural, gates, railings, or production-line work. If that's your background, this role may not be the right fit.
What The Job Is Like
- Small team - you work across the whole project, not just your section of it
- You'll be given real responsibility quickly and have genuine input into how things are built
- Clean, organised workshop
- London site days roughly once a week - a change of scenery and interesting residential projects
- Your work ends up on some of London's best streets. It's credited, it's visible, and it matters.
Benefits
- £17/hr starting rate with structured pay reviews
- Company pension
- On-site parking
- Optional overtime
- Paid trial shift for all shortlisted candidates
